FIDELITY Life Assurance (FLA) says it will announce its financial results for the year to December on or before May 9 to accommodate Vanguard Life Assurance in Malawi.

The delay has also resulted in Zimre Holdings Limited (ZHL) also delaying its financial results to on or before May 13 as FLA is a significant component of ZHL

“The delay is as a result of unforeseen delays at Vanguard Life Assurance Company in Malawi, which, being a significant component of FLA, has in turn pushed back the conclusion of the company audit. FLA wishes to thank its shareholders and the public for their continued patience and understanding,” the insurance group said in a statement.

The delay is as a result of unforeseen delays at Fidelity Life Assurance Company of Zimbabwe (FLA), which, being a significant component of ZHL, has in turn pushed back the conclusion of the group consolidation and review by its external auditor.
